You can pay with your credit card, or debit card, for your order using our safe and secure checkout page. Alternatively, you can pay for your goods through our secure payment gateway PayPal, which offers completely safe payment processing online. PayPal uses the latest encryption technology and adhere to stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process. As all payments for goods are processed via PayPal, we do not hold or have access to any of your debit/credit card details. A "walk-through" of the online payment process is shown below

*You do not need a PayPal account to pay for goods

*PayPal is free to use – no fees to pay

*Secure online card payments

*Speed through checkout – there’s no need to enter your address details

PayPal is one of the largest and most respected online payment gateways. You can pay for your order by credit/debit card without revealing your card numbers or bank account details

PayPal provides a secure server so your transaction is always safe, and also, when you make a purchase through PayPal, you have additional security because only PayPal is provided with your card information (we never see your card details). Also, there is no fee for you to use PayPal

When you click the "PayPal Pay Online" button at our store checkout, you will be transferred to PayPal to make your payment. You do not need a PayPal account to pay us.  Simply click on the "Continue" button on the PayPal home page and you can pay using your card. If you do have a PayPal account, simply log in to your account

PayPal accepts the following cards:

  • Visa / Delta / Electron
  • MasterCard / Eurocard
  • PayPal Top Up Card
  • Maestro
  • Solo
  • American Express

Debit cards (also known as bank cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo

If you need any help with the checkout process, here is a step-by step, walk-through process to clarify how to place an order after selecting products from our website shop and proceeding to checkout, before making successful payment with your credit/debit card. The sample process illustrated below follows a customer in Canada making payment for her goods, but the procedure is generally the same for a UK/Europe based customer, just select the UK, USA, or Europe postage charge at checkout. Please bear in mind that for mobile devices, including tablets, and ipods, the payment process may differ due to the web browser settings of the device manufacturers... Don’t forget you can always send an email if you need any help with the checkout process and we will reply as soon as possible

Firstly, and most importantly, because we have a totally secure checkout page, at each stage of the checkout process, for example when adding your name/address details, and making payment, you may (depending upon the web browser you are using) have to click "yes" to a pop up box that will appear asking, if you would like to see "only secure content delivered"… Please note that the "Security Warning" display box is browser specific, often occurring with the Internet Explorer browser, and will only appear on certain web browsers. For example if you use Google Chrome, you may not receive the pop up message about secure pages… This box is shown below and may appear as you go through checkout, again depending upon your web browser:

OK, our customer is ready to pay for her needle compact and has clicked "Add item to your shopping basket"…

After clicking "add to basket", the first checkout page will appear, where the customer may select the relevant postage service for their country (we will only send goods to the address on your payment notification, and not elsewhere)…

The customer will then click the dropdown menu where it says "calculate postage cost" to select the relevant country. The standard airmail rate will be the default postage charge. The customer next clicks the button: "proceed to checkout"

After doing this, the secure page message box may re-appear (depending upon the web browser being used to surf the web) asking the customer to confirm that they want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely. As previously mentioned, this occurs because we have a "secure" checkout process. The customer clicks "yes" to this message

The next page will require the customer to select their card payment method. Payment can be made with a credit/debit card using our secure, encrypted payment transaction process, or alternatively, the customer may pay, without having to sign up for an account, with PayPal, whose payment page is also secure

checkout 2

The customer clicks on the greyed-out box to choose their payment method.

If the customer selects "Stripe" payment, which is the credit/debit card option (and not PayPal), they will click in the greyed-out box entitled "Powered by Stripe". This payment method covers a wide range of popular credit/debit cards, including Mastercard and Visa. After doing the customer will once again see the security box for confirming they want to proceed with a secure checkout page. Click the "yes" button

The customer name and address details form appears. Please be sure to include a valid telephone number and email address in case we need to contact you about your order

checkout 3

Click the "continue" button. The secure page confirmation will once again appear for the customer to confirm they want to proceed with a secure web page, just as before. Please click the "yes" button once more

Click the "continue" button. The secure page confirmation may once again appear for you to confirm you want to proceed with a secure web page (depending upon which web browser you use, as explained previously). Just click the "yes" button once more. You will see the final order confirmation screen and will then need to click "Pay With Card"

Almost there.... Next, please enter your credit/debit card details and click the "Pay £……" button to complete your transaction

Alternatively, if you decide at that state to pay with "PayPal" instead, just click the "Select Another Payment Method" option. The grey confirmation box for a secure web page will appear, to which you will need to click "yes".  You will be taken back to the checkout page where you can select PayPal as your payment method by clicking on the PayPal "greyed-out" payment option box.

You will next see PayPal’s secure payment page. If you already have a PayPal account, you can just log in and confirm payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, please click "Check Out As A Guest" and continue adding your card details to complete the order
